Najera learns the ropes as Love's intern
Najera, a Washburn University junior, is working alongside the elected
official in his Topeka senate office as a legislative intern, fielding
questions from constituents and answering their calls and concerns.

GCCC students get state scholar awards
Gutierrez, Garden City, and Ricard, Holcomb, are among 53 top community college students who will be honored Thursday in Topeka at the All-Kansas Academic Team awards ceremony.
The team is made up of members of Phi Theta Kappa, the international scholastic honor society for students at community and two-year colleges. Read more
Endowment Association Dinner
The endowment association bestowed honors and elected new members and officers for its board Tuesday night, during the association's annual meeting at the Clarion Inn.
Former GCCC Student makes National Rodeo Finals
Colletti has been riding for the past decade, starting when he was 16. His first place finish at this year's Cheyenne Frontier Days netted him big prize money and put him on a course for national competition.
